UTMD

The UTMD (Uninterrupted Tokenizing Metering Device) is the physical instrumentation layer of the Ndeipi protocol. Deployed under the Telliformer hardware brand, UTMD devices read energy, water, and commodity consumption in real time and write cryptographically verified records directly onto the blockchain -- creating an immutable, tamper-proof link between physical resource consumption and on-chain settlement.

What to Expect

UTMD devices are deployed at mining sites, agricultural operations, energy grids, and community infrastructure points across Zambia and the broader African market. Each device anchors tokenized asset flows to a verified physical event, giving institutional investors and regulators a direct audit trail from resource extraction to token issuance.

Qualifications & Requirements

UTMD devices are manufactured at the Ndeipi Hi-Tech Manufacturing School and Telliformer Device Production Lab in Lusaka. Device registration and network onboarding are managed through NodeBoss, the Ndeipi network orchestration layer.
